What Metal Studs and Tracks Do I Need?
Metal stud partitioning uses vertical C studs fitted into horizontal tracks to form the framework of an internal wall.
The correct sizes depend on the partition system being built, so check the project or manufacturer specification before ordering.

What Is a C Stud?
A metal C stud forms the vertical part of the partition framework.
TSAR supplies C studs in several widths and lengths, including 50mm, 70mm, 92mm and 146mm products.
What Is a Metal Track?
Metal tracks run horizontally at the top and bottom of a partition.
The C studs sit within the tracks to form the frame.
TSAR supplies standard and deep tracks in several sizes.
How Do I Know Which Sizes Go Together?
The studs and tracks need to form part of a compatible wall system.
Do not select components simply because the product names appear to have similar dimensions.
Check the required partition specification and exact component sizes.
What Else Might a Partition Need?
Depending on the wall construction, you may also need:
Plasterboard
Insulation
Drywall screws
Jointing materials
Other system components

What Should I Check Before Ordering?
Have the following information ready:
The manufacturer and partition system specified.
Finished wall height.
Required stud width, length and metal thickness.
Track size and whether standard, deep or another specified track is needed.
Required quantities.
Plasterboard, insulation and other components listed in the system.
Delivery postcode and preferred date.
Stud spacing, maximum wall height and fire or acoustic performance depend on the complete system. Use its specification to prepare your materials list.
If you have a partition schedule or product list, send it with your enquiry so we can check availability against the stated requirements.
Need Metal Stud Materials?
Send TSAR the required stud widths, lengths, track sizes and quantities.
